Sports Update 07/03/16
Results: Football Away at Saint Francis Cabrini (3/3/2016)
The boys did really well against powerful and aggressive opposition. They fully deserved their 5-0 win, with goals from Mikel (4!) and Sam M seeing them to victory for a great start to their group matches.
The girls had to dig in against some very tall opponents and seemed a bit intimidated initially. However, after Kalliopi scored the first goal, they settled down and breezed through the game with further goals from Chloe S, Alysia and another from “Captain Courageous” Kalliopi to seal an excellent 4-0 win.
Upcoming Fixtures
Next Thursday, 10th March 2016, sees both of our teams at home, entertaining local rivals Heber Primary School. We are hoping to record two more wins.
On Tuesday 8th March 2016, the basketball team are going to the City of London Academy for another fixture in the League, and Wednesday sees the Year 3&4 Benchball Squad going to The Charter School to defend our title as Benchball Champions.
So a very busy sporting week lies ahead – look out for our results!
